Yayoi Kusama’s exhibition has been on in MCA, Sydney for several months already. I haven’t had chance to see it until yesterday – Sunday 24 May 2009. I was told there is no “Hi, Konnichiwa” series (image 1)on display. That’s unfortunate, because I love that series. Maybe it is a permanent display only in Mori Art Museum, Roppongi Hills, Tokyo. Apple new MacBook and MacBook Pro Aluminum was here in Sydney City Apple Store yesterday afternoon. This morning I went to have a look (to avoid yesterday’s crowd). I was trying to see the illuminated keyboard in tge 2.4G MacBook, but the ambient is too bright. I am fully aware of the build quality of the new MacBook and the reliability/durability due to the ‘making out of a single piece of Aluminum thing. But I cannot entirely concur that aesthetically it is better designed than the former white MacBook. The 5th image is inside a Sydney City Bus. You cannot drive to the Apple City Sydney Store, no parking in the city.

The 6th image in the iSkin I used for the white MacBook’s keyboard. It can be used on the Aluminum Apple Wireless Keyboard, but not very convenient when you do typing. Therefore I found another solution. As you can see, a Zip lock bag can do the dust protection not only ‘just fine’, but much much better… And it’s as cheap as dirt.

New Dyson D24 Vacuum cleaner. So far so good 🙂 Picked up a lot more dust, it seems.

Retired Bike for moving sale

Dahon 16

Already Gone! (at $120)

Dahon 16″ All Aluminum Alloy Bike. It was bought, I think, 5 years ago. However, this bike is only less than 2 years old. Because it has been only used for the first 2 years. It is all good and young and new as it was. It’s just that there has been no situations any more in which it needs to be used.

It looks quite normal like many of the 16″ inch folding bike out there. But it is not. It was advertised as the ‘World’s lightest’ bike of its kind when it was bought. This was due to its special material. It can be easily carried by even a girl on the shoulder if that’s needed to bring it up and down the apartment stairs. It’s surprisingly light. It is also very easy to maintain because it is virtually impossible to have any rust or other erosion problem due to the same reason.

If you are in Sydney, and want to get this bike from me. I can sell it for AU$145. (it is 1/10 of the original bought price. Yes! That’s right). But you might need to be quick. And you need to pick it up. If you are interested, you can go to contact us link in the front page. 🙂
